Happy 2008! We hope your 2007 was productive and healthy. Simply Retail had an amazing year and already 2008 is full of new Retail Discoveries, Retail Treks and store openings.

When we started the Healthcare Retail movement, the emphasis was mainly on strategy and process. In the past year we've seen a huge switch to implementation and execution. More than 60% of our clients are now engaged in Retail Treks, setting up actual stores.

NEW MEGA-STORE
Kettering Medical Center Miamisburg, Ohio

The new Shops at Sycamore (Kettering Medical Center) is now open!

With 4 in-store concepts (Pharmacy, General Store, Family Health Store, Gift & Floral Shop), this store measures 2,250 sq. ft. with an additional 700 sq. ft. in back for pharmacy use. Soft Opening was November 7, 2007 and total sales for that day generated an impressive $2,400!

Below are a few 'inside store' photos from Shops at Sycamore at Kettering Medical Center. Patients, visitors,caregivers, physicians and employees are all shopping and buying — thrilled about the selection and convenience. Products showing the greatest response, to date, are: Ohio State items, bariatic needs, seasonal goods (with 100% sell-through on holiday products), candles, floral arrangements and basic grocery items. A separate Ohio promotional event generated an additional $2,500 in one day sales.

The renderings below are stores currently under construction in various healthcare systems across the United States with the help and guidance of Simply Retail. From a Candy Shop for diabetics to a Company Shoppe with branded logowear to an Orthopedics store sponsored by the hospital’s Orthopedic Center to an On-The-Go Market that appeals to employees, Healthcare Retail is not a one-size-fits-all initiative.
